• Probability of precipitation (POP), air mass thunderstorm prediction with Precipitable Water (PW), and Mississippi/Louisiana seabreeze climatology
• Generally, higher POPs correlated to PWs greater than climatology. Climatology PWs are available as a gridded product and from SPC climatology soundings.
• Deriving Precipitable Water using radio occultation (interesting read, not required for class)
